Hero disguises himself at times as a beggar outside a shop

Historical Romance, Read a book within the last year, and racking my bran for title. Hero is disguised at times as a beggar. Heroine sees him outside storefront/shops and is always kind and gives a coin. Her fiancé at one point tells the hero/beggar to get away from heroine when he is too close or speaks to them outside a shop, towards the end. Ending is heroine is in church about to get married and the beggar is in the back of the church and takes off disguise/reveals himself.
