Liliana Hart and Louis Scott are a married author team. If you enjoy a well written, short, cozy mysteries and are part of KU or inexpensive for those without KU give the Harley and Davidson Mysteries a try.
The books do need to be read in order.
Set in Texas, Agatha Harley is a mystery writer who likes to solve cold cases. Hank Davidson is a retired FBI profiler who has moved to Texas at the urging of his best friend and local sheriff, Reggie Coil.
Agatha and Hank live on the same street and join forces to solve both cold and current cases.
In Grime and Punishment Agatha and Hank investigate the murder of the town's accountant while trying to help Sheriff Coil succeed in his re-election.
In Blazing Rattles Hank has tried to do everything right to make his marriage proposal to Agatha perfect. He's also been thinking about a past case where the crooks got away. A hit on the head with a champagne cork plunges Hank into unconsciousness and the past where he, Agatha and the rest of the characters have to take down a gang of murdering thieves.
