FYI: The sex within them are MFM, MM and MF.
I read the first book awhile ago, but let these 2 slip down my reading list.
All 3 books are about an young exiled king of Thalanian, Theo, and his best friend and bodyguard, Galen. Theo's father dies and afterwards his right to acceding to the throne are called into question and he's exiled by his uncle. Yes, we see the plot early in the book. While away from his country and in NY they meet Meg. A determined woman, and someone who has her life planned out...no detours. She will NEVER end up like her mother.
The story as a whole is about the relationship between the 3 of them and how to survive the attempts upon their lives by Theo's uncle. How they make it work with the confines of royalty and ruling.
There's a lot of repetitious inner thoughts and conversations, but since this is divided into 3 books I see why. I just skimmed those parts.
Nothing deep, but they're quick and hit the spot.
