So first of, I am not sure if the H is of nobility or in a like undercover agent or both.
I've been trying to look for this book for months now and have read it years before.
The thing is, h's unrequited love for the H was quite obvious (I think) to everyone. However, H only wants to avoid h because he keeps getting injuries whenever h is around. Although it was always not intentionally on h's part. I think h is just clumsy. However, it was a laughing subject for H's circle of friends that whenever h is around, it is bound that H will one way or another, get injured again.
I was actually thinking that it might be one of Eloisa James' books. But looking at the description of all her books for how many times, I just cannot find it or maybe I missed checking some of her books. But I do remember finding both of the main characters of this book introduced in the book before this one
