Edward was a routine-bound, icy duke, who disliked crowds and the touch of another.
He preferred silence & time spent with his rescued horses. (In modern times he'd likely
be considered on the autism spectrum). He saw some young ladies as schemers to
become his duchess. That was his 1st impression of Georgiana, of modest means, but
granddaughter of an earl.
