A 2022 Mary Higgens Clark award nominee. I gave this mystery-rom 3 of 5 stars.
Bath 1891. Had 2 romance couples. And a future couple?
I liked amateur sleuths Lady Amy (dtr of a marquess) & Lord William (a viscount).
However they bent the law while sleuthing, had no authority but interviewed some
suspects multiple times & treated trained police detectives like idiots.
Maiden Aunt Margaret was special. IMO, this author has written some v good books,
but I wouldn't include this book in that category. Others may disagree w/ my review?

Lady Pamela & the Gambler
