Christmas Kisses: A Regency Holiday Romance Anthology by Cheryl Bolen etc.

This had short stories by 10 authors. It was a mixed bag. Gave this nearly 3 stars. 

My favorite stories were: # 1, 4, & 7. 
Story #1 Diana, treated like Cinderella by her stepmom, was later pd to paint
a portrait of the hero. 

Story #4 The heroine saved a classy older woman from footpads. The lady was the 
American hero's grandma. 

Story #7 Celia's mom appeared to place her in a compromising position @ a 
Christmas house party.

Story #3 described how a country girl went to London, was tricked about a job, 
and was forced to work in a bordello for 2 weeks. Men bid on her innocence. 
Sorry I'm not fond of rape stories- this thankfully had few details- especially not 
in a Christmas story. She later ran into a 'john' at an inn. Luckily the hero was 
close by. 

Another story had a heroine pose in the nude for an artist for 100 pounds. Huh? 
She needed the money to rescue her mother, but I thought this a silly premise.
