Took me just over a week to read the entire series and I really enjoyed them. "When a plane takes off from Minneapolis Minnesota in 2014 and crashes 2064 the survivors learn: 1. Nuclear war has destroyed the world they knew. 2. Plague has reduced the female population to a precious few and every woman is worth her weight in gold. 3. Werewolves are more than just stories, and they want mates."
Each book follows 1 or 2 women from the crash as they leave the plane to find help and find themselves a man who can turn into a wolf instead. The books do a nice job with character development and really explaining what life after 'the Terrible Times' is like. No electricity, no phones, no technology of any sort. I found the books highly entertaining and tbh a bit frightening - sadly, I can see something like this happening - (not the time travel or the shapeshifters ) the Nuclear war, a plague and the elimination of life as we know it. Book 6 had quite a few 'REALLY??' moments but was still enjoyable. I felt like book 7 was a big jump and a departure from the rest of the series. More time had passed between it and the other books. I would have liked more to tie it back to the others. And since it seems to be the last book, I'd also have liked an extended epilogue to know how everyone ends up more long term. But I'm also really sad that the series is done.

I thought the majority of humans in a nuclear war would go blind or be vaporized?
Listen as a woman, I don't want to land in any sort of post apocalyptic world, or post nuclear war world, if it were possible that is, because I would be certain I would end up in a horrible situation. It also feels like wolf books are following me ever since I answered the question of "would you rather a vampire or werewolf as a mate?" I chose the werewolf, because knowing my luck the type of vamp would be frozen to the touch and then demand I sleep next to them... I get cold easily so I'd rather take my chances with fleas... but would be warm at night.
