Please help with our research into romance novels

Do you love to read romance novels? We would like to hear from you! Our names are Dr Jo Coghlan and Lisa J. Hackett. We are researchers in Sociology at the University of New England (Armidale, NSW, Australia). We are currently conducting research into accuracy in romance novels.

The title of our research is ‘Locating authenticity in contemporary romance novels: Perspectives from international readers and writers’. The aim of this research is to investigate how readers and writers negotiate authenticity in romance novels. This research is partially funded by the Romance Writers of America (RWA) through their Academic Research Grant.
