A 4 star kisses-only hockey romance. CR.
The best CR I've read in a long time.
Big/ tall Mitch disliked most people including his teammates. He was a NHL hockey defense pro for a Wash. DC
team. He knew the penalty box. He was suspended for 5 weeks (assigned as a temp. asst youth hockey coach
& other conditions) for injuring an opponent who sustained a concussion.
Mitch & Andie, a RN, disliked each other. After he reamed out her bro. Noah in a youth hockey practice.
After a time they called a truce, later still they flirted. He called her "Blondie" and she called him "Big
Man." Andie and Noah lost their parents in an accident. Noah benefitted from counseling. Mitch scorned
the idea of counseling for his anger, until he turned a corner.
This had real feelings and real convos, and 2 vulnerable leads. The texts exchanged enhanced the story.
Had no game-playing outside of the rink.
