J.L. McCallum - Big Trouble in Little River

J.L. McCallum has called the Pacific Northwest home all her life. Her day job is as adjunct faculty, where she teaches courses in leadership, management, and strategy. When she isn’t writing, she spends her free time with her little family or pursuing her interests, which include crafts, genealogy research, photography, and travel. Her two goals in life are to take her family on a road trip around the world (yes, it is possible - even with oceans) and to go on a photography expedition to Antarctica. Both goals involve her writing along the way.

Anna McGregor and her best friend, Freya Andersen, are chasing their dreams of small business ownership. Moving from Seattle to the tiny mountain town of Little River, they have grand plans to open the Bakery. However, as Anna and Freya settle into small town living, heartened by the Bakery’s success and Little River’s embrace, Anna finds herself distracted by the subtle charms and easy smile of carpenter Daniel Gilbert.
