I am looking for a western historical. Its been a long time since I read this book. I will try to include bits of story as I can’s really remember the actual plot too lol.
I know that the H ( could be half-breed indian or white adopted by Indians) find h was too young so left her to explore the world. Along the way he had sexual relation with a married OW. The OW knows she must produce a heir for her husband otherwise she will be out of his will or something like that, so she lied to H she was barren in order for H to sleep with her. After H left her, she was pregnant. If I am not wrong, the H’s name was Raine? And OW was Jessica?
