Okay, this is a long shot because I cannot remember too many details about the book 
. So the H is a military man( he is some sort of service man) who flies military planes.
The H has this "kink" where he likes to role play and it embarrasses him, because he doesn't think that anyone could be into what he is into. He used to have a girlfriend in the past who made him feel like what he liked to do in the bedroom was completely abnormal, so that's why he's all weirded out by his likes in the bedroom and ashamed of it. He meets the h and they begin a relationship and she is understanding of what he wants. She dresses up as a school girl one time and his friends visit him and see that, and he takes his embarrassment out on the h and becomes angry that they got caught. His friends who are also part of the military all have their own kinky stuff going on in their private life so they don't judge him on his. I think the h is also a waitress at a diner and it was how they first started talking, it was instant lust on both their parts, and then they started being together.
