I'm also still listening to Julie Miller's Tactical Advantage while I knit or clean. I think I have about 3 more hours to go. I like it, though the narrator is just okay.

Hi flipoid, I'm multi tasking my reading. I'm finishing Brenda Novak's "Until You Loved Me" at the moment. In the bedroom I've got Susan Mallery's "Three Little Words" and in the front room I've got "Bone Deep" by Debra Webb. If I get those finished I have plenty more to choose from in my TBR.
I just finished Dragon Bound by Thea Harrison..... I loved it so now I'm going to read the short stories about Dragos, Pia and Peanut.
Later, I will probably finish the Unearthly series by Laura Thalassa. I still have books 4 & 5. I'm really enjoying the series but lately I have trouble sticking with one world for too long. I find that if I read standalone books in between, I don't get as restless or disinterested.
If I get into the mood for contemporary, I will finish Disorderly Conduct.
Happy Weekend! Glad to see that the weekend thread lives.
I'm thoroughly enjoying a re-read of Amanda Quick's Reckless. One of her best.
On audiobook, I will finally finish Hero of Ages, the last book in Brandon Sanderson's original Mistborn trilogy. Excellent fantasy series, but because of the length, I should have chosen print over audio. Great story and narrator.
I read Kerrigan Byrne's latest, The Scot Beds His Wife and I didn't like it. There were a few things that made it a miss for me. First, it combined two things I dislike in a book, a feisty h and, in the words of the author, a scrawny h. I know women come in all shapes and sizes but I don't want to read about a h that looks like a little boy. It's a little off putting. Next, is that the h, Sam, cursed a bit too much. Don't get me wrong, I do curse once in awhile. But she did it a bit too much for that time period. I also don't think she really explained why the H, Gavin, hated his brother so much. If you've read The Highlander, then you know that they don't get along as adults. But when did it start and why? It took me a couple of days to read it. I had to force myself to finish it. If only to find out why the H hated his brother. But that didn't happen. I liked The Highwaymanand The Highlander so much better. It took me only a few hours to read those. I couldn't put them down. But enough ranting
So now I decided to reread something I love. I chose I Only Have Eyes For Youby Bella Andre. Her books are always a hit for me. After that, I may go for A Lady's Pleasureby Renee Bernard.
Hi, folks, glad to find you here! I've got to remember this website & my login so I can do this at home! I only read one book this weekend, but it was a Kristen Ashley, so I think that explains it. Actually, I hit Epilogue this morning before I absolutely had to get out of bed (if I can't read before I get out of bed, the whole day is wacked!) I've now read the last of the 'Burg series Hold On and I have an urge to go back & re-read parts of it, but I also want to move on to the Rock Chick Series because I want to meet Lee Nightingale & the rest of his crew! I'm thinking that's where I'll meet them...They've popped up on several of the series now & seemed great!
Hope everyone had a great weekend, & that everyone finds their way here! kc
hi flipoid, and thanks for starting this thread! My sister and nephew were here for the weekend (they came in Thursday evening) and we've been busy. He's a kindergartner and so fun! They just left and now I'm sitting here wondering why they have to live so far away when her ex is such a bozo. sigh. I wish they could move closer but alas, per the divorce, they have to stay in the ex's state. Boo. Loved having them come for a visit! :-)
Anyway, I haven't been reading much. I read Steel and Iron, two books in Terry Bolryder's dragon series. They were short and cute, so they worked well for the weekend. I got two today that sound good -- and they've both been raved about: How to Date a Douchebag and So Good. I'll provide links when I can; I'll have to read the link that has the instructions for it.
