I've recommended this on the Jealous/Possessive thread. This is a 3 book series and you have to read all the books to finish the story. Each book continues where the previous one left off.
**Minor spoilers** This H is obsessed with the h and he's not a good guy. He has no problem torturing people, killing people or whatever if it helps him achieve his goals. He is now king of the world after almost destroying the world by nuclear bombs. The h is part of the rebels opposing him. When he sees the h falls for her hard right away. She's the type of h that doesn't care what the H thinks. She different and says things to him that no one else would dare. He wants her right away and pursues her. He forces the h to marry him and forced seduction happens on the wedding night. Again, he isn't a good, soft guy so if you like that pass.

I loved it and it's in my favorites.
Reading the spoilers has piqued my interest. Anti-hero obsessed with an h with a backbone - sounds great! Will check this out - thank you

There is a really good hate review on Amazon for this book. The reviewer clearly loathed the first book but her review and points were so well thought out that I remember the review months later. The commenters were excessively harsh which I hate. As if no one is allowed to have differing opinions. Her review was so good, I almost wanted to read it. I didn't because he does one thing in regards to her loved one that I didn't think I would be able to get past if I was the h. I'm a wimp...lol
alyrica - I'm not sure if this is what you're thinking of but -
*******spoiler*******
Many reviewers said the H killed the h's father. Technically this isn't accurate imo. He's ultimately responsible for her father's death because he ordered his men to not let her escape. He did not order them to shoot her father and he certainly didn't shoot her father himself. He loves the h and genuinely feels bad at the pain she feels when her father is killed.
That being said, again the H is an anti-hero. One reviewer called him "little Hitler" and other reviewers gave that comment a thumbs up.

Yes, that is it! I should have known it was not as simplistic as what I was thinking. The guy is responsible for millions of deaths which is horrific but killing the h's father was the thing that kept me from reading this. Thanks for the clarity!
