Hi lovestoread , Have you tried Lexi Blake? If you like Cherise Sinclair, I think you'd like Lexi Blake. They're pretty similar. Less emphasis on the club action. More emphasis on the suspense elements. Similar vibe for the doms. I've read most of her Masters and Mercenaries series and quite enjoyed it.
Hi there
Thank you for the recommendation, I love it when someone recommends a book. I have read some of her earlier stuff, and I did like her writing style but I'm not a big suspense person anymore, I use to be but I'm not anymore. Thanks again

Thanks so much for the loan of YIELD, I've returned it. It was an okay book, I didn't love it and I didn't hate it, I skimmed a lot of the sex scenes, because the book was mainly sex scenes which is okay but I need more story, I also didn't love the writing style, it didn't suck me into their lives. I don't think I would read any more of her books. I really appreciate the loan, it gave me the opportunity to see whether I would her writing syle.
I have Don't Come by Jessica Gadzialla available to loan if anyone is interested.
To me personally, it was a pretty mild book. However, if I go by the rating system I devised for this site, it does fall under moderate BDSM because it includes flogging.
A Dancer's Education (Gilded Palace Ballerinas Book 1) by Celia Jonson - 4 stars. Daddy/little. Historical, best I could place it is early 1900s, though I don't recall ever seeing a date in the book. I loved the H in this one. It was a sweet story with an orphan h who grows up in a theatre and becomes a ballerina. The H is a late-30s rich businessman. There is some domestic discipline and a couple of other scenes that would make me catagorize as moderate BDSM, but there is no bondage or pain play or any of the "usual" bdsm themes. He is really very caring and sweet to the h and wants her to have the fun she never had as an orphaned child. He also educates her, even hiring a governess to teach her all the subjects like reading, writing, languages, history, and mathematics. He wants her to have choices in what she wants to do with her life. I think if you liked Little Dancer by Brianna Hale, you will like this book. It's on KU.
I read Give In by Layla Frost. It's a professor/student trope, power exchange with some discipline. I rated it only 2 stars but that's because of my personal preferences. Yours might be different so I'm posting it here because it was well written. It has a j/p, alphahole, stalkerific H and bratty sub h. All the things I don't like, but if you do you'll probably enjoy the book.
I finished Somebody's Perfect (Rescue Me Saga #7), the newest book in the series by Kallypso Masters. As I posted in the upcoming book releases thread, this one follows up on Savannah and Damien from book 3 and her father's trial. I can loan it if anyone is interested. I do recommend reading the series in order.

I've been busy the last couple of days working on the first story for the second part of the 'Clarice' trilogy. Really happy to see that it's going to come out on Amazon on the 27th! The story takes some twists and turn. This time it's set in my new hometown, New York. Yay. The entire series has a BDSM theme, but in the end it's all about the female heroine, Clarice.

Before the first short-story of the next trilogy comes out, I'm running a free promo on Amazon tomorrow (unfortunately only Saturday) on my first short-story in the Clarice Series. The first short-story of the second part of the trilogy comes on on Amazon on Sunday!! My Author Page on Amazon
I don't read very much BDSM, but when I do, I like it hard core. One of my favorites is Obsession by Claire Thompson. It starts off with an abduction, there's no safe word, and no sugary romantic ending.
