I found this on an old HQ thread on Goodreads and really want to read it. I've searched some but can't find any book that sounds like this. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas? Here is the OP:
I can't remember the title for a harlequin from the the 90s, or at least I think it was the 90s and is contemporary and takes place in the US. It starts with the hero getting custody of a I think a niece and nephew. He works on a farm and also makes furniture. He can't take care of the kids so he needs a wife. She has been in love with him forever. She agrees to marry him but they agree it's going to be a marriage in name only, I don't remember if they ever actually do anything. After they get married she moves out to his farm. She's really unhappy because he's am a-hole who basically treats her like an unpaid maid. She tries to make the house a home to win his love and he hates everything she does. She makes some new curtains and he yells at her for taking down the old curtains because he doesn't want her to make a mark on his house. She has a small business making clothes for people and sewing and he doesn't like it. At the end one or both of the kids run off while she's sewing and he finds out and is really nasty to her.
