I saw elsewhere that the Masters and Mercenaries Bundle: The Early Ops (Books 1-5) by Lexi Blake is currently on sale for 99 cents. Here's a link:
I highly recommend this series. It's really good. Lot's of variety. Similar to Cherise Sinclair but heavier on the suspense aspect of the stories, maybe lighter on the BDSM but not by much.

agreads - I saw a post you made about a new entry in a series by Elizabeth LaFleur.
My experience in this genre is limited, because I keep running up against stuff I don't like. I don't like humiliation, for instance, and I hate cheating.
I do like Cherise Sinclair and Lexi Blake. How does the LaFleur series compare to them? I don't care about the suspense aspect. I'm referring to the relationship parts of the stories.

SaFleur's series is better than Lexi Blake IMHO, but Blake failed to capture my attention really early on and I never read past the 3rd book. I don't remember any cheating in Elite Doms of Wahington books. I actually would have to read again to say if humiliation ever enters. I don't like it either, so I can say IF it showed up anywhere it was not significant enough to bother me. I read everything from light/barely there BDSM to the hardcore stuff, so I always give warning that something that might squick out other readers may seem mild to me.
Have you read Laura Kaye's Blasphemy series? You would probably like books 1 and 2, They are really mild and sweet with Doms who are all about the sub they fall hard for. I can loan them if you want to try them. Book 3 was mmf, and book 4 was mm, and the novella Eyes on You is about voyeurism and exhibitionism, so those may not interest you.

agreads - Thanks for the info, and another author for me to look at (no I haven't read her yet).
I appreciate the offer, but unfortunately loans do not work because I'm in Canada. I'm good with menage (as long as it's mfm or mmf) and with mm. Not really interested in voyeurism or exhibitionism but there is no squick factor. So I'll take a look at books 1-3 at least.
I took a look at her FantasticFiction page. There's a lot there that interests me. Thanks for introducing me to a new author. Because I need more books that I haven't read yet!
I posted this "Bargain Books" thread also, but it fits here also, The Duke I Tempted by Scarlett Peckham is 2.99 right now down from 4.99. I haven't read too much of it so far, but I like the MCs and the writing is very good. It contains flogging, which is a first for me.

I read one review that said it contained "cheating of a sort". Can you expand on that?

I loved this book and rated it 5 stars. Great writing, well developed characters and interesting story. Re cheating, it is about his needs (kink). I did not see it as cheating and immediately bought book 2 - and will buy anything from this author.
I too don't like cheating, and while I was fine with the story, others may have a different view?

That's what I thought it might be. Kind of like Cherise Sinclair's Edge of the Enforcer then. As long as there is no sex and no feeling, then it doesn't bother me.

Has anybody read any books from the Cowboy Doms series by BJ Wayne? I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has read books from this series. It sounds seriously intriguing, but (pardon the cowboy pun) I'm a little gun shy about trying new BDSM authors.
First, is it well written? I'm done with paying for poorly written, poorly edited, amateur crap.
Second, BDSM can be a quagmire. So I have some caveats. Absolutely nothing that isn't safe, sane and consensual.
I'm not judging anyone else's preferences. But I have my own list of no go's and this is it. No cheating. No humiliation. No blood. No erotic asphyxiation. No golden showers. No baby play/diapers. No F/F action.
