I've read this a couple of times. I'm still not entirely sure I understand it....
I'm also posting the cover in the bad book covers thread. There is so much going on in that cover it just has to be seen. Skybreaker
Sky Breaking seemed like a useful course, but its usefulness lay in the amount of credits that would count toward Imara’s degree. Once she is in the course, she meets the only other student, and they strike an unlikely friendship. Kitigan is a seer who has an interest in farming and apiculture, weather magic is part of that peculiar parcel. After a series of classes that turn into tests, Imara is happy to head to Kitty’s farm for a weekend away from school, and Mr. E wants to head out and ride some sheep. Everybody has something to do, including the trespassing werewolf pack that just moved in next to Kitty’s family farm. Imara has to walk the fine line between guest and defender while taking her Death Keeper skills for a spin. Her weekend is anything but relaxing.
Haha.... Nothing like sky breaking, riding sheep and werewolves to really sell it. I find it amusing how many tropes/themes authors throw into books these days. I started a freebie the other day which had vampire in the title. As it opened there was discussion of a curse by Merlin and had a very sword in the stone type scene. The H was thinking about how he just wanted to enjoy time with his MC club. As he was riding away from the ritual he started growing hair including a beard which is when I decided to DNF. I definitely dont need to read a ridiculous book that is a mixture of arthurian legend, vampires and a MC club with a hirsute H. Yuck.
Kitchen sink romance! As in, everything but the kitchen sink.

A little proof reading goes a long way! The synopsis starts by talking about a moody pirate (who "pirates") named Sam Steele. Then it introduces the h, Grace Sullivan. With me so far? Then it talks about the h falling in love with someone named Cale. Wait! What!?! Who's Cale?
His deepest wish Notorious pirate Sam Steele is driven by grief, so he plunders and pirates while doing his best to forget the man he was, what he lost, and what he yearns to have again. A task that proves impossible when an unexpected turn of events brings a woman aboard.
Her greatest fear Grace Sullivan has vowed to never put her faith in a man again. But when the infamous Steele saves her life, Grace begins to doubt her hardened heart.
Her pirate to love The more Grace comes to know Cale, the more he proves he's different, and the deeper she falls in love. But will those who are hungry for revenge find them before Cale realizes everything he needs is within reach?

After Olivia Dobson is jilted at the altar, she endures another humiliation: a substitute groom! The elder brother of her runaway betrothed has taken matters into his own hands. Shy Olivia has long held a secret attraction for Andrew Richardson, the handsome Earl of Ashcombe. But when she's wedded, bedded and dispatched alone to his country estate, the timid beauty discovers one night of passion has ignited a bold inner fire.
While his lovely green-eyed bride is out of sight, she is not far from Andrew's mind—and when Olivia is abducted by French spies, the earl fears he may lose what he's only just found. Yet the wife he races to rescue is a far cry from the gentle bride he abandoned. She's a woman who dares to demand forever after from her husband….
The synopsis looks to be in order. However, I don't think the person who wrote the synopsis actually read the book. Maybe if they had, then they would know that the H's name is Gabriel and the h's name is Talia. How could no one have noticed that the names do not match? It's not like this is Rosemary's first book.

In this case it's not so much the synopsis itself, it's the "letter" from the author at the end of the synopsis. REALLY?!?! The book is Timber.
I've been called wild. Dirty. Untamed. I moved to the woods to get away from the bullsh*t of the city. People there don't understand a man like me. I work hard, and my hands are as calloused as my heart. And nothing’s gonna change that.
Then I meet Harper. A storm brought her to my doorstep, and soon enough I take her in my arms. And on the floor. And on the table. And in the great outdoors.
But this girl keeps running. She says she has a problem that a wild man like me can’t fix. But she’s wrong—I can be everything she needs. I just have to prove that to her.
Dear Reader,
TIMBER features an untamed man who takes a virgin. Please don't read if you're not ready for hot sex that will make you reach for that vibrator hidden under your pillow. If the batteries are out, your own hand will do. No shame, babycakes. Enjoy this steamy story! You deserve it.

OK, I'm fully willing to entertain the idea that I'm being hypercritical here. But honestly, would you like a little butter with your corn??
I believed in sex, once upon a time. And passion. But now my life as a single, divorced career girl living alone in New York City was all about work. I hadn't had a date in years.
But then he came along . . . Alexandre Chevalier. The French CEO billionaire of HookedUp, the social media phenomenon that had taken the world by storm. He was the most beautiful man I'd ever seen, and with eyes so green they seared into my soul. Like a flash of lightning he struck me down . . . his touch was electric, and I knew my life was irrevocably changed. I'd never be the same again.
He awakened every fiber of my being, ignited every cell in my body. And just when I thought things couldn't be more perfect . . . It all came crashing down. *
I'd had it with all the crazy women in my life: the models, the movie stars, even my power-hungry sister and business partner. If you'd had a past like mine, you'd understand. I just wanted a normal relationship with a normal woman . . .
And then I met her . . . Pearl Robinson. She was perfect for me. Or so I thought. But I was in for a shocking surprise when I found out the truth . . . Of who she really was.
HOOKED UP is a complete series of three, full-length novels averaging 400+ print pages each (90,000 words). All books released and available. Dual POV throughout.
Disclaimer: If your e-reader should melt while reading this series, the author cannot be held responsible.
100% agree. The actual synopsis part tells me nothing about the book.
Here's the interesting part. It appears that this is a cliff hanger, or at least a HFN because there is a book 2 about the same couple that seems to imply the story was not finished in Book one.
Book 2 has exactly the same set of rave reviews. I mean word for word! Sooooooo..........

I can't even.....seriously?? The mangled tense is so awkward it makes me cringe. The truly amazing part is that the books lists not only an author, but also an editing company. Really!! Hawks MC.
Holding Out
Not everything is roses, chocolates and vibrators in Zara's life...until Talon, Hawks MC President, wants to claim her as his.
Zara Edgingway is a twenty-six-year-old secretary. She has a daughter that apparently knows-it-all and a best friend that could possibly have the mouth of Satan, but she's been with her through hell and back. Then there's the hunk'a'licious biker neighbour finally showing interest in her. If only she isn't about to face her next obstacle in life, the one she ran from six years ago: her ex husband.
Talon Marcus is the president of the Hawks Motorcycle Club. For two years, he's had his eye on the quiet, reclusive, yet sassy, neighbour Zara. Finally, he has the chance to claim her as his woman. Just when her past catches up with her, she'll need, not only his protection, but the help from his biker brothers. Now, if only she'd stop fighting him along the way.
Climbing Out
Deanna Drake has a past she longs to forget, but won't ever be able to. She's always been the tough one. No one, but her best friend Zara has ever been able to penetrate her cold, hard, shell.
Until Griz
Griz— a.k.a Grady Daniels, Hawks Motorcycle Club second in command, also has a past that he wishes he could undo...all except one part.
It's her past that brings them together. Only will it be forever?
Finding Out (novella)
In a moment of weakness, Ivy Morrison tells a lie, a lie which will leave her scrambling for a solution and quick. The perfect solution comes well-packaged in the form of broody and sinfully sexy Fox Kilpatrick, courtesy of Find Your Soul Mate online dating service. Desperate times is most definitely a call for desperate measures. With no other choice, Ivy convinces passionate yet possessive Fox to help her in her time of need.
Fox 'Killer' Kilpatrick is still caught up in his past, a past of anger and death, which his biker brothers desperately want him to recover from. Losing a bet, Killer finds himself on a blind date with Ivy, the woman who is set to turn his world upside down.
Following your heart is never easy, neither is following an unknown path, but finding out may just be worth the journey to possibility. Only together, will Ivy and Killer discover if it was worth the risk after all.

That editing company is a joke. Every book their name appears on is rife with errors. I checked out their website one time and counted numerous errors on the home page alone.
