I’m looking for the name of a historical romance I read years ago. All I remember is hero throws heroine out of castle/home and she almost dies. I think she is pregnant and it’s snowing or really cold. She is found by someone (I believe a elderly woman)who takes her into their cottage and saves her life. Also not long after hero throws her out he regrets it and starts looking for her. Thanks for any help you can give.
I asked this on a Facebook page and some suggested Johanna Linsey or Catherine Coulter’s book Lord of Hawkfell Island. I’m pretty sure it’s not one of these. I know hero wasn’t a Viking and heroine left on foot when she was kicked out and it either was snowing or started not long after she left.
