Tiffany Roberts - Jewel of the Sea Kraken 2
I am 70% into this now. I snapped this up immediately because I unexpectedly really enjoyed the first kraken book. However, this one is seriously lacking in the romance department. At 70% and they have kissed a couple of times. That's it. Most of the book is taken up by exploring the history of the kraken and the people who live there which is interesting but that's not what I am reading for. A lot of this exposition and world building could have been done in the first book instead of dumping it all here and having no room for anything else. I'm going to finish it but I won't be waiting for the third.
edit: OK finished this one. All, and I mean all, the action took place in the last couple of chapters and was kind of rushed as there was a lot. It wasn't bad but would have been better if the action parts were spaced out a bit more and there was less historical exposition. Looks like the third might be human male and female kraken.
