Looking for "two" books that involve the heroine having a stalker.

Hello! I've been looking for the name of this book for a while but have completely forgotten it. I'm not entirely sure if these are actually separate books as it has been so long since I read it and my memory of these books are a but funky as I was trying to read as much books as possible haha.
I remember a specific heartbreaking part involving the heroine and her attacker (I think the attacker may be her father or step-father, not entirely sure). Her attacker ties her to her bed a cuts her body with a knife. The hero and his pals arrive shortly after and see her tied up to the bed and save her. I remember another part shortly after they save her where the heroine is telling the hero not to touch her because she is "dirty" from her attackers touch.
Potential second book or another part of first book
Heroine possibly recently moved to new area. She became friendly with others that lived next to her. At one point in the book, she hears knocking at her door really early in the morning (or late at night) and she finds a creepy painting at her door, I remember that the Heroine was talking to the Hero on the computer and tells him that someone is knocking on her door, she leaves while he is writing to her not to answer the door due to it being so late, the hero then goes to her house. Her neighbors see that her are lights on and go to check on her.
Thats about all I remember!
