Here, then, are the top ten romances in decreasing order:
Devil in Winter by Lisa Kleypas (review here)
Lord of Scoundrels by Loretta Chase (review here)
Beard Science by Penny Reid (review here)
Flowers from the Storm by Laura Kinsale (review here)
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (review here)
The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata
The Hating Game by Sally Thorne (review here)
A Seditious Affair by K.J. Charles (review here)
Not Quite a Husband by Sherry Thomas (review here)
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon (review here)
I have read 1-4 and 9, I have The Hating Game in the rota but not up yet. I have never heard of A Seditious Affair so have to look into that but have no desire to read P and P or Outlander. W of W and Me is still on the maybe if I'm bored list. This would not resemble my list in any way! I did like 1 and 4 but not enough to be on my top 10 list.
Edit: Did a quick count and I have read 67 of the top 100. Some were not memorable but most of them are good. Now I have a list of books to read in the future!
I've read 33 books on the list, but out of the top ten, I've only read the first two. I'm glad that Devil in Winter took over the top spot. I really didn't like Lord of Scoundrels.
I've read the six historical romances on the top ten list. I might reread "Flowers from the Storm" if I feel up to the emotion in it. I really dislike having the hero injured in some way. And I didn't care for "Outlander." Too violent, IMO. I liked the others, even "Devil in Winter" which I guess is the exception to my own personal rule about violence. When I voted for my one pick, I chose "Jane Eyre." A very hard choice.
Of the top 10, I've read three (Devil in Winter, Lord of Scoundrels, and Pride and Prejudice. Of the others, I know I will never read Outlander, Wall of Winnepeg and Me, The Hating Game and Beard Science because they are all written in the first person. I tried to read Flowers in the Storm, but couldn't get into it for some reason--too angsty for me, I think. I'm pretty sure I own Sherry Thomas's Not Quite a Husband, but don't think I've read it yet. I've read and liked others by her, so I will have to check my Kindle library.
I'll have to check out the rest of the top 100 list. Thanks for posting this, diane!

I've read ninety of them! Don't ask me for details though as some (such as Outlander, those by Heyer and Austen) I read quite a few years ago.
Regards, Kareni
I don't like the older ones much even if they are considered classics like Heyer and Austen. Odds are good I won't ever read those ones and that is a big chunk of the ones I have yet to read so I probably won't be going out of my way.
I've read 5 of the top 10. Two I loved, two I DNF'd, one was decent, but not a great favorite. To each his own, I guess. I'll have to check out the 100 list.
You can't get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suit me.

I've only read one of the top 10 (LOS) which I did enjoy. DIW is on my TBR list, so I'll get to it.
None of the rest really interest me, except maybe the Penny Reid. I've tried (and failed) a number of times to read P&P. To me, Outlander doesn't really qualify as romance. More a romantic story, which is an important distinction for me.
I've read 20-25 of the top 100. While a few of them were favorites, a few of them were also books I did not like at all.
Such is the wonder of reading romance. We all have different tastes and there is something out there for everyone.
