SOLVED-Looking for historical romance...

Where the h is the H's mistress. h tells H she is pregnant and H freaks out. H will not inherit his grandfather's fortune if he has any children out of wedlock. H tells h that she will have an abortion and he locks her in her room and sends someone for a surgeon. Once h realizes this she grabs all the jewels she can carry and escapes out the window. Meanwhile, the H comes to his senses and sends the surgeon away. He realizes he can marry the h and still meet the terms of his grandfather's will. He goes up to tell the h and finds her gone. It takesnsveral years of searching before he finds the h and daughter and then the story continues from there. Any ideas on title/author?
