This just came out yesterday and of course I had to immediately 1-click. It's probably my next read, although any book will have a hard time following the Granby Knitting boxed set I just finished. Maybe I should start on a book that I've borrowed via KU -- that way if I decide I don't want to finish it, it's not that big of a deal. I don't have a NYE hangover but I may have a book hangover after really enjoying the Granby series.
Obviously a follower of the Lanyon theory of writing....why finish a series when you can just start another? My experience with her books has been all over the place—some duds, a couple meh, and at least one (Every Other Weekend) that I really liked. I sampled Swipe. Not entirely sold but I might pick it up if it drops to $5.38, which usually happens within a week or so for Dreamspinner. Anyone read?

I haven't read this one and I have so many in my TBR stack that I was going to give this one a pass. I'm like you -- I'll wait to see if the price goes down.
I bought her Bone to Pick for $6.99 and then never read it. And I would probably never have realized it except for your post. I know I've read some of her books but mostly from KU. I'm not a big fan of criminal books so it's not really a hardship to pass this one up.
BTW, I can loan Bone to Pick if someone is interested.......happy to share. Somebody ought to get some good out of it!
Bone to Pick was pretty good. I liked it but the relationship is sorta HFN/mostly up in the air. Book 2 didn’t really advance their story. I was disappointed and I’m not sure if she’s going to have a book 3. If she does, it’ll prob be awhile. Still, I think book 1 was worth the read. I’d rec stopping there until there’s more info though. Just my 2 cents
Good news for me regarding the TJ Klune book releasing March 17 -- I'm #1 on the hold list for it at my local library! I can't believe they bought it!!!
I wish it was in ebook but I'll take reading it in paper to save myself $13.99.
My library has so few M/M books that I almost didn't check to see if they were going to get it, especially in PB vs ebook. I am crossing my fingers that you all can get it via the library too.
Comes out tomorrow Tough Guy (Game Changers Book 3) Rachel Reid. I preordered and I don’t do that very often anymore. Book 1 was meh but I *loved* book 2. I’m cautiously optimistic.

mjbett, do you think I should read book 1 first or can I go right to book 2? I'm always up for a good book, especially in the m/m genre.

I read book 2 first and it’s fine. Other than a few minor appearances/mentions of the hockey H, there’s really not much that connects the 2 books. I’m glad I started with book 2. I prob wouldn’t have bothered with book 2 if I had read book 1 first. Afaik, these are her only books so the author had a lot of improvement going into the sequel. If you read and like book 2, the author has a couple of really cute short stories about them on her blog—Dinner with Hayden and Halloween with Ilya.
Principles of Spookology (The Spectral Files Book 2) S. E. Harmon. Not upcoming but just released...she’s self published now so the link just went up, I think. ***Entire backlist has been reissued*** Originally from Dreamspinner. I liked book 1 a lot.
