This month I'm going with an ARC I read set in the post-Civil War Reconstruction South, Beth White's A Reluctant Belle.
It had a great bantering couple, and it's an interesting period. I would recommend reading the first book of the Daughtry House series, "A Rebel Heart", first though. This couple are supporting characters in that novel, and you get a better idea of the characters and interaction of you start there.

You can't get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suit me.

I read a lot of really great books this month. Only Unexpected (Lori Foster) was a five star read. But all of these were 4.5 star reads. Good thing, because that one book (For Honor's Sake) was the worst stinker I've read in a long time.
Thanks to the reminder, I have updated my list. There is about a month's worth of books missing from my GR list between April and May. I'm pretty sure I remembered enough to pick the right books, though. I've been doing a lot of rereading this year but chose ones that were new to me. I'll try to do better staying updated!
A close runner up is a reread, Her Miracle Man by Karen Sandler.
I read several duds during the month and also did a lot of rereading. I guess I'm in a book slump because I'm having a hard time finding new books that I like.
My favorite for July was easily the final book in Sarah Sundin's "Wings of the Nightingale" trilogy about WWII flight nurses, In Perfect Time. It could be frustrating, since the H and h both had trouble believing in themselves, but it was ultimately very good.

July was an amazing reading month for me. I read two five star books and several 4.5 star books. I chose A Perfect Storm because of the absolutely kick-ass heroine and how the H protects her vulnerabilities and accepts her need to be kick-ass.
