Running behind with this thread, but here's my favorite in July: When a Duchess Says I Do by Grace Burrowes (4/19) [ Rogues to Riches - 2 ] (A- Warm) -- Regency
August (so far) Romance The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren (5/19) (A Warm) -- CR - New Author Under Currents by Nora Roberts (7/19) (B+ Warm) - RS Heart Dance by Robin D. Owens (7/07) [Celta - 6] (A-/B+ Warm) -- Futuristic
I updated my list for August. I read a few good ones and not so good ones this past month. A few of the not so good ones were from fave authors so that was disappointing. It was tough to name a favorite. But I went with the one from Eva Leigh and the ones from Stacy Reid as honorable mentions.
There weren't a lot of great books this month but I greatly enjoyed Lynn H. Blackburn's One Final Breath and the Timeless collection An Evening at Almack's.
One Final Breath gets the nod. It was an ARC, but it releases tomorrow.

You can't get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suit me.
Hi, Bonnie. It's an "Advanced Reader Copy". It's when you are given a book by the publisher before the publication date in exchange for writing a review and posting it on line

Thanks! That makes sense. Good thinking on the publishers' part.
I've not read very many Kat Martin books. I did like this one so I may go back and try more from this series. It's not the best romantic suspense I've ever read, but it is pretty good.
I love me a wounded H. Add the right h, who helps him overcome, and I'm sold. It would have been a five star read, but the h frequently lost control of her mouth, which made her seem a bit silly and took away some of my enjoyment.
I started many books this month that didn't grab me, so I skipped them. There were some very good reads, but the only stand outs were The Loveliness of Ladybirds by Fresina, a romantic mystery, and Castle Orchard by Dineley, a great story with romance, but not the ususal romance. So my favorite list continues.

I had 4, 4.5 star books in September. I picked the one that made me laugh. Not every author can successfully combine humor and steamy, but this one does.
Bliss - Lynsay Sands, which I reviewed on this site.
The other three were
I Thee Wed - Wicked Worthingtons 4 - Celeste Bradley Take No Prisoners - Black Ops 2 - Cindy Gerard Whisper No Lies - Black Ops 3 - Cindy Cerard
