I loved The Rogue and the Hellion, fabulous book. But I hated A Taste of Sin (it has so many mistakes in it, it's just a hot mess).
If there are more books of hers like the first one I mentioned, I'd love some recommendations.
You have a lot of authors on your list I haven't tried yet. I love finding out about authors I haven't tried yet.
I liked A Taste of Sin. I didn't really notice any mistakes. I recently read The Rogue and the Hellion and I did like it. It's on my keeper shelf. Most of the books I've read by her have been a hit. Only a few weren't. One book that I really wish I hadn't read was Caress and Conquer. The H was horrible and the h was weak. If you hate abuse and a lot of cheating, then you'll hate this book. Another book I didn't like was Promise Me Forever. The H didn't bother me in that book. It was the h that annoyed me.
These are all my keepers by her:
A Breath of Scandal* A Love to Cherish A Taste of Paradise A Taste of Sin A Touch So Wicked Gypsy Lover My Lady Vixen Pirate Seduced by a Rogue* Taken by You The Black Night* The Dragon Lord The Laird of Stonehaven The Last Rogue The Price of Pleasure* The Rogue and the Hellion To Love a Stranger To Tame a Renegade
I can't say which book is the most like The Rogue and the Hellion. If you liked that you may like Seduced by a Rogue and The Last Rogue. They are Ram and Lucas' stories. I put a * to my very favorite ones. I've reread them a few times in the few months that I've had them. I'll definitely be rereading them soon.
**One note on My Lady Vixen. The H did cheat, but it was towards the end of the book. I was surprised that it happened but I could understand why.**
I like finding new to me authors, too. I especially like finding them on reader forums. I tend to trust their recommendations better than Ammy reviews.
I'm surprised that I hadn't discovered CM sooner. But better late than never

Thanks Josie, I'll put some of these on my wish list. Thanks also for the warning about cheating, it's one thing I just can't stand in a romance. It's one of the reasons I didn't like Touch of Sin.
It's such fun discovering new authors. I love to discover a new author who already has a lot of books. Woohoo, instant wish list! No waiting required.

You're welcome. I just remembered that there technically was cheating in Seduced by a Rogue. I can't explain why without spoiling it. I don't want to spoil it for you, unless you want me to. I know he cheated in Touch of Sin, but I didn't mind it because they were married at a very young age and weren't really together till years later. If he had cheated after they got together as adults, then it would be different. I know it's semantics, but hey.
I also love to find a new author with a large back list. That's why I think it's good I found CM now. I believe she has retired from writing so, like you said, no waiting required.

I've updated my list as well. This month's top pick was a foregone conclusion. No chance of any book knocking Mastered by Love off my top shelf.
I don't know anything about this book. Would you be interested in doing a book review for us? I've never read a Stephanie Laurens book. She's a historical author, right? I used to read a ton of historical but kinda burned myself out on them. I still occasionally read them however. 😀
