I updated my list and added my pick for November. It was harder this month to pick the best book, but Stacy Reid won out again. She's really been killing it. I'm so glad I discovered her.

December was my holiday binge read month. I particularly liked two by Elizabeth Mansfield, Winter Wonderland and A Christmas Kiss. But the overall winner was the Timeless Romance Anthology, A Country Christmas. All three novellas were good, and the Carla Kelly entry "The Christmas Angles" (yes, angles, not angels) was excellent.
Best of the year pick to follow, but it's really a difficult choice this year.
You can't get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suit me.
I just added my favorite December and favorite book of the year to my October 3 post. December is Nora Roberts's Whiskey Beach and Book of the Year is Mary Balogh's Someone to Wed.

I posted my pick for December and the best book of the year on my original post on this thread. It was hard to pick the best book of the year. I read some great books this year. There were a lot of rereads from fave authors that I did this year, but I decided to choose the best from the authors I've read for the first time this year.

I've completed my list for the year (see first post on page one). About half my monthly picks were first time reads for me. The other half were old familiar friends. I picked a new one for my book of the year. Otherwise I'd rotate between the same 5-10 books every year.
