Noelle, Still too warm. I opened the house up last night around 8:00 and turned on the whole house fan. I think it finally dropped to about 63. The house was plenty cool to sleep! Have you been to Sprouts in McHenry Village?? I love that store. 🎃
Yep, always fun to see the kids in their costumes. My daughter said they going to a Halloween party tonight dressed as Little Red Riding Hood and her husband is going to be the wolf, looking forward to seeing the pictures.

We live in the semi-country so in the past 31 yrs we've only had about 3-4 trick or treaters. I miss seeing the little ones. I always buy 1-2 bags of candy just in case. I do have 3 pumpkins on my front porch but they're not carved. I'll leave them there until after Thanksgiving when its time to put up my Christmas wreath. Quite a few people go to their churches or clubs and have what they call "trick or trunk". They all get together and give the kiddies candy from their trunks. Probably much safer because you know who you're getting your candy from. 🎃

I agree, still too warm but I believe today was the last of it.
I haven't been to Sprouts yet but my middle daughter and her husband shop there for most of their food. I need to go check it out soon!
Lev (Shot Callers #1) Bella Aurora I have been completely lost in this book for the last few days, just loved it. It had all of the elements that I was looking for at the time and ended up giving it 5* (hoping the link works this time, sooner or later I will figure it out. Lol
Nope, got the darn dog page again. so what am I doing wrong with posting links?? I hit "reply" then the little world and paper button, add the name of the book and author in the first line and then the www.amazon.com/name-of-book.....

Yes, that's the one I was trying to link. I guess I didn't put the entire webpage address in there. Outside of knowing the book, author and www. Amazon, I don't know what else to put, not that great at this stuff. Lol It was so easy over at Amazon .

On a separate tab in your browser, bring up the amazon page of the book (or the Goodreads page, or whatever webpage you're trying to link to), then just right-click in the web address at the top of the tab/webpage and left-click copy and it'll grab the whole address. Then just paste that in the URL field back in the insert-link thingy here (just erase the "http://" that's already in there since the stuff you copied will have that).

Noelle, I love Sprouts. We were there last week and I bought 2 bundles of pinecones that smell like cinnamon or the "holiday season". I have them hidden and they make the house smell so good. When I was a kid back in the 60s that building was actually a grocery store called Lucky's. We didn't live to far so my mom shopped there. Anyway, we enjoy shopping there. 🎃
