I know, I know, I keep mentioning Lauren Gilley's Fearless: The Complete Series - Lauren Gilley, but honestly its the only one I can remember the names of. I know Julie Miller has one or two and I think Linda Howard may have one but can't remember the names of the top of my head. Wait, how about Kulti - Mariana Zapata. I'm stuck on both of those authors I guess. 🎃
I copied this list over from my request in the Book Recs section. These are some of my favorites.
The Surprise of His Life by Karen Keast Falling for Grace by Stella Bagwell At Long Last Love by Gina Wilkins Just a Number by AD Ryan KCPD Protector by Julie Miller The Admiral's Bride by Suzanne Brockman Little Dancer by Brianna Hale (BDSM) The Boss Series by Abigail Barnette (BDSM) We Shouldn't and Yet... by Stephanie Witter
Buy Me Sir (Jade West). H is 44 years old. h is 19. She's his housekeeper but he doesn't know it, he thinks she's someone else. He's a divorcée without children, has suicidal throughts but never carries them out. This book has elements of BDSM.
Monster In His Eyes Trilogy (J.M. Darhower). He's 42 (I think) and she's 22. She's a college student and he's a shady guy from the mafia but she doesn't know this until much later. He has a vendetta on her family.
Four Crows (Lily White). H want's revenge on h's father. She's the same age as H son (but H son is dead) so I think he's at least like sixteen years older than her.
Family Man - Jayne Ann Krentz This is my most favorite contemp book and my most favorite hero. Luke is 36 while Katie is 24. In the book, Luke gets insecure about being older than Katie
Wildest Hearts Oliver is 37 and Annie is in her early 20s. Also among my top contemp faves.
I don’t know if anybody on here likes fan fiction but I like carano she wrote Isla de Cullen h18 H37 you can get it here. She has a great back log of books caranofiction.wordpress.com/pdfs/

I've read both of these two books recently, upon recommendations in the Amazon forums. Just a note that Buy Me Sir by Jade West is $2.99 for this ebook stand-alone, but is available in the Best of 2017 collection by Alexa Riley, and others for $0.99 (for a limited time), along with 7 other titles:
Beast by A. Zavarelli
Blackwood by Celia Aaron
Affliction by Zennika Snow
Delicate Scars by Alta Hensley
His Muse by Isabella Starling
Trans-fer-ence by Ava Harrison
Notice by K. Webster
(I haven't read all the stories yet, since this was released on October 10th)
A recent price drop (end of September release, now back up in price) was Scandalous (Sinners of Saint Book 4) by L.J. Shen ($3.99, but also on Kindle Unlimited). H is 33, a business mogul (from a poor, bi-racial background) and a single parent; h is just past 18, and the daughter of one of his "business partners/enemy". She turns out to be everything he never expects from her background -- totally unfocused on money and the subject of her father's abuse -- and totally focused on keeping her family (mother and brother) together. She also is the key to getting his 4 year old daughter to talk and socialize.
Another book that I liked:
Act Your Age by Eve Dangerfield ($2.51 recent price drop from $2.99 September debut price). H is 45 -- an ex-firefighter turned businessman after an injury. h is 25, the youngest in her family of 9 kids, and the only girl in the firm of engineers. None of the tropes that you might think apply work here. The characters are shown in depth, and their relationships with each other and their colleagues fully explored. And there is a HEA for two flawed people who have found each other.
ariane Thanks for the heads up on the collection of books. I bought it. I thought Act Your Age was a decent read. I have not read Scandalous, so I put that one on my list to check into.
Contemporary The Wild Side by R.K. Lilley H-40, h-18 (she lied about her age saying she's 24 I think) Four Seconds to Lose by K.A. Tucker H-29, h-18 (not much of a big age gap but hero thinks she's 22, and when he found out, friend said at least she's not underage)
not sure if link is working...These Old Shades-Georgette Heyer HR H is 40 something, h is 19.
Hi Ravensgirl/ Natasha, isn't that a big age gap? Thanks, ML.

Just catching up on all of my bookmark threads as to your ? I know without remembering which HR's but not unusual for large age differences between both parties. There were many HRs where the H is mid to late 30s and h 18-20 yrs old. I guess it became acceptable as in real life moc were made with young h and H old enough to be their father/grandfather.
Here comes the sun even though I love that rainy day feeling!

The older men thought the young ladies were lucky to make this advantageous match? ML
