Just bought this and wondering if any of you have read it? The series sounds pretty interesting and the author has a lot of available books so I figured I'd give this a try. If you're interested, I can loan.
***Arghhh, Dreamspinner has reissued the series*** I noticed these are in KU now. I really liked book 3. I’ve reread it a few times. I read it first and it’s fine as a standalone. (Book 2 was disappointing and I never tried 1.) It’s the story of an established couple working through some issues and deciding to start a family.
Between the Teeth will be removed from ArchiveofOurOwn today. I just saw this or I would have posted earlier. Hopefully it’ll be up long enough to download if you haven’t already.
Eta.... Coming in First Place should be out within the week. Supposedly it’s done (Patreon preorders already have it, I guess) and just needs cover art and a few business details worked out.
The March 26 post “Between the Teeth for all” has a link for the complete story. She says it contains all the content but it’s not a polished version and to expect some formatting issues. I’m not going to delete the chapter downloads I got from ArchiveofOurOwn but it’ll be nice to have a full version.
Again, I wouldn’t delay if you’re interested. I would think that this link will be deactivated once the published version is available.

Book three is playing house and it's the only one of the series that I have read too but I really liked it. I've never read a book about someone with Aspberger's before and I thought it was really interesting. I should remember these when I'm looking for something new to read as I like Bru Baker's writing.
YouCouldMakeaLife Fanfic I’ve been sporadically working my way through these. Sylviarachel isn’t bad. She has several stories. Currently the newest story (March 25th) and you can click on her name to get the others.
eta...the fanfic stories don’t really work independently. Other than the AU stuff, it assumes knowledge of the series. (Though I guess fanfic is all technically AU)
Coming in First Place (Between the Teeth Book 1) is live. $3.99/170 pgs. Trilogy follows same couple and I’m thinking that this might end on a cliffhanger. I might hold off a bit. Author is assuming that she’s positive for Covid. Her Tumblr post Not to be a total cold hearted mercenary but I worry about the release schedule.

I put this on my WL so it doesn't get lost in the Mt TBR. The one review said it was a HFN ending so not a true cliffhanger -- and I'm okay with that. Thanks for posting, mjbett, I'm sure I'll read this at some point.
I had purchased books 2 and 3 of the Finnshifters series by Tia Fielding when they were on sale a few months ago (I already read book 1) but haven't read them yet, so I started on book 2. Love this series and am enjoying book 2, although I haven't read too much, I'm only about 1/3 of the way through. Can't wait to settle in tonight and read more. I saw there's a book 4 too, so we'll see how I feel after book 3. Oh, but there's Lisa Oliver news. I'll post that in the new releases thread.
More about the Coming in First Place trilogy, linked above.
Someone on her Tumblr asked about the release schedule for this. She says book 2 will be out “within the year”. I’m not sure if that means later in 2020 or sometime within the next 12 months. And book 3 will be out sometime later in 2021. So I’m thinking it’ll be 15-18 months? Disappointing:( Really, she had the bulk of the work done. I’m not sure why she wants to drag it out. There are a lot of readers (myself included) who don’t like to start series when the schedule is in doubt. One of the big reasons why I’ve written off (pun intended;)) Josh Lanyon.
Ok, I really don’t want to keep griping about Lanyon (and everyone’s prob sick of it, lol) but I can’t seem to contain the snark. My apologies. So now she’s mocking reviews on her blog? I’m maybe slightly overstating it and I’ll admit to some bias against her but I greatly disliked the vibe of her post. Authors, especially the self published, live or die by their reviews and this is the direction she wants to take? Not cool. It’s not impossible that one of those reviewers would see her post so, yeah, not cool.
***reissued*** Originally from Dreamspinner as Him Improvement I joined her newsletter awhile back so I could access some extras on her website. Better Off is on KU. She’s also written a very short story featuring the characters from Merge Ahead. It’s just a few pages of them at home as they’re quarantining. Nothing special but it was a cute glimpse into their daily married life. Free to read on her website and you can download if you join her newsletter.
I wasn’t aware of this set so I don’t know if that’s a sale price. It’s not listed on ereaderiq either. I love this series. Some niggles with the stories but I really enjoyed their relationship. Lanyon usually keeps her KU offerings short term. I don’t know how long this has been listed so don’t delay if interested. $2.99 is a bargain, imo. I didn’t go back to check page counts but it’s over 600 pgs. Worth it:) I’m guessing this’ll prob go up in price and prob won’t stay in KU.
